Nothing but the awesomeness works! Yeah, I have to say that this is an Epic film! from Indonesia. Another way to proof that Indonesia also has talented artists, who show to the world the wonderful Indonesia.

Epic Java is a film that portrays dramatically the Java Island with photography approach, which is combining the time-lapse and slow-motion technique. The film is focuses on nature, death, tradition, mystery, and solitude. Without any narrator, actor and dialogue, this film will flow with the music.

Febian Nurrahman Saktinegara  and Arie Naftali Hawu Hede, are the men behind of this enormous works. They begin the Epic Java’s project in late 2011 to explore Yogyakarta, Central Java, West Java and also East Java.

In the mean time, the video teaser has been hit the Youtube since April 2012, has seen by almost 2 thousands peoples. And also has been the trending topic in the largest Indonesian online community, KasKus. I have noticed the teaser of Epic Java in previous weeks, when I was attend the event that held by Nirmana Award, in Jakarta. Denis Adhiswara who was seat as the speaker at the event, inform the public that this is gonna be the Epic Film from Indonesia. I think It can compete to the scenery scene in the Hollywood epic film, such as The Lord Of The Ring.

I hope that our government will give their support for this film. Because this is could be a great tourism campaign for Indonesia.

Imagine guys, this is only reveals the Epic of Java Island. What about Bali? Borneo?, Sumatera?, Ambon?, Nusa Tenggara? and other islands, that will be the huge... of works.

Ahh…can’t wait to watch this film soon! On the big screen.
