Whoaa… seems like more good news comes from “The Raid”. As already
screened at Opening Toronto International Film Festival (2011), now it will be
screening at Sundance Film Festival from 20th-27th
January 2012 (based on filmguide.sundance.org).
FYI Sundance Film Festival is an annually film festival which
is held in Utah (United States), as the largest independent cinema festival in
US for American and international independent film makers. So this is a chance
for “The Raid” to get more attention from global audience.
Mike Shinoda, who did the scoring for this movie said, “it’s
very cool that this movie made it in (Sundance Film Festival as part of
spotlight section). Usually Sundance doesn’t feature action films”. He also announce
that Sony Pictures Classics will be releasing the film in spring 2012 in US. And
so does in Indonesia.
Well, can’t wait to see this Indonesian martial art movie.
We are proud as Indonesian, don’t we? J
